Based in surrey for a financial services organisation you will be a technical specialists that is use dto writing and implementing test strategies for large financial (Insurance) organisation. You will have skills in automation. Be expert in the use of testing tools including Mercury Quality Centre v9.1 or above • Be a skilled mentor and coach • Have a proven track record of defining and delivering test strategies • Be expert in Test coordination, Design and Maintenance, Execution and Defect Management • Be expert in creation of test plans, test scripts and business scenarios and regression testing • Be expert in Test estimating, Risk analysis and Test analysis • Be expert in coordination, scheduling and control of multiple user acceptance testing activities • Be expert in Quality management, test KPI’s Experience The applicant will have as a minimum: • Experience in the Financial service market • Experience in the Insurance broker market (desirable) • Experience in software delivery (desirable) • Extensive experience and skills in Test Strategy, processes, delivery and management Qualifications The applicant will ideally hold the following qualifications, or equivalent: • ISEB Practitioner Certificate in Test Analysis • ISEB Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing • ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Analyst Personal Attributes The successful applicant for this role will: • Be able to work under pressure to strict deadlines • communicate and present effectively, build rapport, gain the confidence of others and possess strong influencing skills • demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills • have a strong attention to detail and delivery mindset
